Softball Camp 2016

It's that time!  Softball Camp is June 6-9 at a cost of $75 per camper. 
Session 1: 8:30-11:30 5 year olds-entering 5th grade
Session 2: 1:00-4:00 entering 6th - 9th grades

Marcus softball parents,

My name is Marcy Stotler and I am one of the members of the banquet committee.  Each year the booster club gives each player a gift at the banquet.  The last couple of years we have made personalized photo frames for the girls.  We plan to do this again this year and we need your help.

Please assist us by providing us with 6 pictures of your player.  They can be whatever you want. Game pictures, pictures from the stands, selfies from the bus, etc.  Whatever you think your player would like to have to remember their season.  If you have taken your own pictures that is great, if not we have been very fortunate to have volunteers who have taken pictures for us this year and have posted them on Shutterfly.  If you have not checked them out you can go here:

Once you have decided on your photos, please send the downloaded files to me by email.  Please put the player name in the subject line and email to marcussoftball2016@gmail.com.  If there are any problems with your pictures I will email you back.

We really need each parent to help with this.  There are 37 players this year so this is a big undertaking.  We cannot choose the photos for anyone.  We would hate for any player to get an empty frame!!  If you have any questions call or text me 214-868-5261 or email me at the above email or marcystotler@gmail.com.

Grayson College Softball Tryout

I would like to invite any of your 2016 or 2017 graduates to our softball tryout we (Grayson College) are having on May 15th at 2:00 p.m.  We will begin our check-in at 1:45 p.m.  The tryout will be on campus at our field at the address listed below.  Any student-athlete that is interested in attending just needs to fill out the registration form on our website.  I have linked the form at the bottom of this message.  If there are any questions, my contact info is listed below.  Thanks!

Great Home Opener!

What a great home opener we had on Monday! It was senior night and both teams had a W!  Varsity won 19-7 over Mansfield Lake Ridge and JV won 10-1.  Way to go ladies.  As many of you know, the Mansfield pitcher took a line drive to her temple.  It seems she is ok and was able to attend school the next day!
